Pierro

In May we lost our friend Pierro to his battle with diabetes. Pierro lived with Jerome Assine and his family for several months during 2009. During his stay with Jerome, Pierro came to know Jesus Christ. He attended our Wednesday Club days where he came to a further understanding of Jesus great love for him and we saw him open up like a flower in springtime. During one particular visit to Okoute, his hometown, we were able to share Christ with several of his friends. Pierro knelt down on the ground with us as we laid hands on a group of his friends and prayed for them to know Jesus Christ as a friend. We will dearly miss Pierro.
