Christmas Haircuts

The day before Christmas we have five or six boys come by to use our clippers for a Christmas haircut. Tom and Lorrie both got to do the honors on different days.

To Pete and Erin

Some photos of the flowers that are growing fantastically and the property that's cleared with fruit trees going on it. Pete and Erin worked tirelessly in July of 2008 to get some of the major clearing out done and get the fruit and flowers planted. Our gardener took over in January of 2009. We've come a long way baby but little by little this place is looking good.

Veranda

When my father died several people donated money to my ministry in Senegal. With this money I was able to put the needed tiles on the roof to protect the roof from mold during the rainy season and also tile the veranda.

My Wonderful Dog Adjou

This week my wonderful friend and guardian Adjou, died. Sadly animals here have a short life span. I'm thankful for the two years that God let me have Adjou guarding me. So here's to you old friend! Cheers to burying all the bones you want in heaven!

Christmas in Oussouye

I wasn't sure how Christmas in Oussouye was going to roll. Although I have to say it has been one of the most difficult seasons of my life, I was thankful to be with such good friends. Here's some photos of us on Christmas morning eating left over pizza from Christmas Eve with Rebecca, Karin and Ishmael.

Art in Worship

Last week for our Wednesday club day we decided to see what God would do in us artistically while listening to worship music. That day God helped me get some worship music in Jola and we had all kinds of art supplies. The kids seemed a bit confused at first that they were free to express themselves. We had some really cool expressions of what God is doing in kids lives come out.
