Jesus on the Chalk Board

I had a chalk board made last year to help me illustrate Bible teachings for the little children who come to Bible study. I am no artist but enjoy my teachings.

Thieboudienne

Christine made her first Senegalese dinner at the house the other night. She decided to make Thieboudienne for us.

Solange

This is my friend Solange. Last year we were praying for her arms. Her bones was leaking. I know that sounds crazy but it literally was. She had to change the wrappings everyday and was unable to play like the other kids. Last year a German Missionary found some sponsors for her to have surgery in Dakar. A few others sponsored her to go to a girls camp in Dakar. During the camp Solange really came to meet Christ himself. During this time her arm was also healing. Her arm is completely healed now.

Boris

For those of you who have heard about our friend Boris but not seen his photo, here it is. Boris is seeking to know Christ more. I recently lent him my French study Bible. He is loving it and spending a lot more time reading the Bible now that he can really understand more of what he is reading.

Prayer in Kabrousse

Muhammed's Moto Shop in Cap Skirring

Our friend Muhammed wanted to open a bike shop somewhere outside of Oussouye so he could make some money and clear up some problems he created in Oussouye. We thought he was headed to Djembering to open the shop. Last Thursday we were headed to Kabrousse for prayer and I hear my name being shouted. Oh and there is Muhammed. He found a spot under a tree to fix motor bikes and he had already started saving to pay off some debts.

Foxy Roxy

This is my friend Foxy Roxy. She paid me a visit today for the first time since I returned to Senegal. We had some fun today!

Worship on Wednesday

My friend Alain has been coming to Bible study to help me with the worship and translation for the kids.

Games on Wednesdays

This game was circle soccer. You could get people out by shooting the ball between their knees or the space between you and a neighbor. If the ball found it's way through you had to turn around the first time, the second time you were out. Super fun Game.
