Confiture avec les femmes

I really enjoy saturdays with the women making jam. Yesterday they must have gotten bored or something so they took our names over to the Ossouye radio station and had them announce all of us and what we were doing with the jam. Yesterday we made Pamplamousse jam. They grow these fantastic large grape fruits here that they call pamplamousse (I am fairly sure that is spelled wrong)

The jam is interesting. After the rains in August they make Guava jam and other favorites of the ladies are Mango and Bissop Jam;
