I had this dress made in Ghana probably 8 years ago or more. I finally handed it off to Djeleck this week. It looks so fantastic on her.

Salt Flats

One way people get salt here is on the salt flats. I didn't really understand the explanation of how they do it, but apparently this salt is better for your health than regular salt, according to my companions.

This Saturday I spent the entire day in Loudia. We walked there with my bike so I could ride home. Went to search for oysters in the mangroves. My dog went for his first swim and loved it. We cooked, played and I think I met and took pictures of everyone in the village. Then I had a great ride home on my bike. It was a super fantastic day.

Response to Prayer

Last week I prayed for more conversations with the kids at my house on Wednesdays and time to play with them. Wednesday the power went out, so no computer, no movies. Just fun! We spent the afternoon doing puzzles.
